First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beghou.
Associate Consultant
The interview process involved multiple rounds. First, I had a call with a screener, followed by a conversation with a senior consultant. The third stage was a lengthy 3-hour panel interview, which included a work demo and a case interview where I was given numerical data to analyze and asked to illustrate insights and draw a graph freehand. After a considerable wait of a month, I finally had a 30-minute interview with a Partner, which I felt went well. However, I had to wait another two weeks to be informed of my rejection. The entire process was quite frustrating due to the long and unreasonable waiting periods between each stage, making it feel like my time wasn't valued.
- Do you have any experience working with pharmaceutical data?
Associate Consultant
I had an on-campus interview initially with someone from their main office, which was about 30 minutes and pretty standard. Following that, there was a more involved second round. This started with a casual lunch with some current employees, which was more about sharing what working at Beghou is like rather than being a formal part of the interview. After lunch, I met with several interviewers, including a partner, managers, and a consultant who showed me a demo of their work. Each of these meetings lasted around 30 minutes, and the whole day, including lunch, took about 3.5 hours.

- There were also a few minor technical problems to solve.
- The remainder of the interview consisted of standard behavioral questions.
Associate Consultant
I applied through campus recruiting and got an interview. A week after, I had a conversation with a current Associate Consultant. It was mostly behavioral questions, but included a short sales data exercise where I had to visualize data on paper and explain my findings. By the end of that week, I heard back that I was selected for the final round. The final round happened about 2 weeks later. It involved 4 interviews back-to-back at the office in Emeryville, with lunch and a short presentation included. Again, most of it was behavioral, with another short sales exercise.
- Can you tell me about your 5-year career goals?
- What are three key traits you believe are essential for Associate Consultants?
