Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.
Quality Control
The recruiters were friendly and polite. They mostly assessed behavior and agility. There was a 30-minute team meeting interview with 3 interviewers. The process was transparent and cooperative. They were not very quick in notifying results and might be unresponsive.
- Have you reviewed the job's roles and responsibilities?
QA Manager
We started with a quick chat with the recruiter. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, I had about 5 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with people who would be my peers or direct reports. Each person had one main question to kick things off, and then they'd dive deeper based on how I answered.
- Could you detail your expertise in validation?
- Can you describe your approach to management?
Supplier Quality Engineer
We had one screening interview, then a second round with a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, followed by two more technical rounds with the team, including a Senior Quality Engineer and another Senior Quality Assurance Manager. It was tough, and they really wanted to see how well I'd fit into Danaher's culture and organization.
- Tell me about a time you had to confront a challenging situation with your superiors and customers.
