Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beckhoff Automation.
Intern
Had a short interview, under 30 minutes. It was all behavioral questions, no technical stuff. Talked with the manager, an HR manager, and another HR person.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your understanding of our company?
- How do you handle receiving feedback?
Intern
It was very behavioral and a little technical. The interviewer was very helpful and nice - guiding me through the processes. They were very responsive and uplifting compared to other companies in the same field which was what really drew me in the first place.
- Tell me about the biggest problems you have faced in a project and how you resolved them.
Intern
It was a pretty simple interview process. First, there was a phone call where they asked about my studies and interests. Then, I had an onsite interview with the HR team. This part focused more on my skills, past experiences, and why I'd be a good fit for the role.
- Can you tell me about your programming experience from your studies or previous jobs?
- What are your interests?
- Considering our company's family-oriented culture, can you share some information about your family?
