Their online job application was great; it only asked for my name, phone, and an optional resume upload, skipping psych tests or detailed work history. Later that day, the store manager called to set up an interview for the next day. The interview itself went well; she assessed my fit for the role while explaining the job duties. A few hours after that, I received a job offer. They decided against offering me the beauty advisor role since I lack prior experience in that specific area, but that's okay as I'm aiming to move into the salon position anyway. I'm really looking forward to starting and appreciate that the hiring process wasn't overly long or complicated.

I applied and got a call for an interview about a month later. My first interview was with a shift manager where we talked for about an hour, covering basic interview questions. I was supposed to get a call the next day for the second interview but didn't, so I called them. The second interview was with the Location manager, who asked basic questions from my application, focusing on my cosmetology school background. I was told I'd get a call the next day about a final "Practical Interview". I waited and then called again. They scheduled the interview, asking me to wear work attire. This interview involved being on the retail floor, looking at products, greeting clients, and basically doing the job. I made sure to interact with customers and offer help to employees during slow times. The following week, I was scheduled to work.

Saw the job posting on craigslist for a sales associate role. The ad said to apply in person, so I went to the store and filled out an application and asked to see the manager. I interviewed with the manager and assistant manager two days later. It seemed to go okay. Before your interview, you should totally check out their website to learn about the company, like how many employees they have, how many stores they own, what their core values are, and who their target customers are.
