Store Manager
The district manager conducted a very professional office interview. They went over company history, position details, and benefits. We then toured the store. The entire interview was comfortable and lasted about an hour. They asked about my retail experience and past job duties. I was impressed with the company, and the interview went very well.
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
Store Manager
The interview started with a phone call, then I had an impromptu in-person interview at a restaurant. They asked standard questions like my management style, how I handled deadlines, and what I liked and disliked about my previous job. I was expecting more technical questions but they were pretty basic. Later that day, I got a phone offer and was told where to go for drug testing and to complete a background check. The whole thing was pretty easy and straightforward.
- Should personal time be interrupted for work?
Store Manager
The interview itself was easy and consisted of basic questions. Although the job was advertised as a Store Manager, the role was actually for an Assistant Manager. I never received any feedback from the District Manager, even after emailing them about three weeks later.
- Can you tell me about a time you experienced a significant career setback?
