Java Software Developer
First there was a recruiter call, then they asked about my capstone project and my role in it, followed by some Java knowledge questions, and then I had to share my screen for a coding test. After the coding test, there were some questions about SQL and frameworks.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What was your capstone project and what was your specific contribution to it?
- What are your Java knowledge levels?
Software Engineer
So after you apply, the recruiter will give you a call first. Then, you gotta do two coding questions that they email you. You can take your time with them, it's usually about an hour. They're pretty easy though. Lastly, there's the technical interview where they ask about Java, Spring, and SQL stuff.
- Regarding Java, can you explain the internal workings of HashMap?
- In terms of exception handling in Java, what are the different types of exceptions and how would you handle them?
- Could you explain Java's garbage collection mechanism?

so first, i did a self-introduction. then, they wanted a deep dive into a web project i did, mostly talking about java and spring. after that, i had a coding challenge.
