Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BeaconFire Solution.
Front End Developer
It's a 3 round interview process. First is a 15 min phone interview where you'll talk about yourself and what you know about the company. Second is a 1 hour tech interview, with 20 mins for core knowledge and 40 mins for 1-2 algorithm coding questions.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What's your understanding of our company?
- Basic questions about HTML, CSS, React, and JavaScript
Front End Developer
Had a technical screen with some basic JS and React questions and two simple algorithm problems, one about strings. Time was a bit tight and I had to run the code on my own IDE.
- Can you explain Promises?
- What is the React component life cycle?
- Describe Flexbox CSS.
Front End Developer
Had a 10-min phone call with the recruiter. Then, a 1-hour technical screening that included 20 min for short answer questions and 40 min for 1-2 coding questions (like fizzbuzz and sorting). Finally, a 30-min HR interview.
- Can you explain the difference between caches and cookies?
- Explain basic React.js concepts, specifically the difference between functional and class components.
- Could you solve the Fizzbuzz problem?
