Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beacon Hill.
Executive Assistant
The interview process started off really well. I had a great initial chat and felt good about the possibility of working there. But after that first call with the recruiter, it went totally silent. I tried following up a bunch, but heard nothing back. I get that recruiters are busy with tons of candidates, but when you've already made a connection, keeping up communication is super important to build trust. It was a bummer to be left hanging after a good start and made me wonder about how professional the whole thing was.
- Could you describe what typically occupies most of your time on a daily basis?
Administrative Assistant
The interview format was previously stated. This question about the interview process feels unnecessary and like a waste of my time. I am actively looking for a job and do not need this annoyance.
- Could you describe Conduent’s business profile?
- Regarding your administrative and clerical responsibilities at your last two employers, what did they entail?
- How many executives did you provide support to?
Office Assistant
I got contacted by Abby from Beacon Hill, a recruiter, two days after I sent my resume. The office was really nice, and the receptionist was friendly. I met Abby first to go over my resume, my school background, and what I want to do career-wise. Then I met Annie, a hiring manager in their permanent division, and we talked about my resume and past jobs. Lastly, I talked to someone who works for one of Beacon Hill's clients. After talking to all three, they offered me a job that starts as temp and can become permanent with their client, which I took. The whole thing was easy, comfortable, and professional, and the women gave me good ideas about my resume and future.
- Where do you see yourself in five years career-wise?
