First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beacon Hill.
Business Analyst
It was a very technical interview. The job itself seemed legitimate and aligned with what I was looking for. Although I didn't get the job, the recruiter was helpful and forwarded my resume for other roles in Indianapolis. It appears to be a good company to be a part of.
- Can you differentiate between functional and non-functional requirements, providing an example for each?
Systems Analyst
I was contacted by the recruiter at Beacon Hill for their client in the Insurance sector, located in Carmel, IN. After we did a face-to-face meet, she set up an interview with her client. I was able to meet the direct supervisor and then the fellow managers in the area. In very short order, I was contacted to establish a day to start the contract!
- Are you comfortable with on-call responsibilities, particularly early morning calls?
Business Analyst
My role involves developing technical solutions to business problems, or to advance a company's sales efforts, beginning with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements in the financial vertical. This includes understanding SQL queries and the different parts of an SQL Statement.
