Account Executive
The great thing about interviewing with Beacon Hill is having a dedicated recruiter who guides you from start to finish. They handle scheduling interviews, help you prepare for calls, and follow up on discussions. The team is really flexible in finding interview times that suit everyone and have been incredibly welcoming throughout each phase of the process.
- What do you enjoy about sales?
Account Executive
This was a pretty personal, in-depth process. I spoke with upper management for the first 2 interviews, and they gave me a completely different picture of the job than what it actually is. During the final 3-hour interview where I met the team, I found out the offer was going to be 12,000 under my current base pay, and it wasn't a hybrid position like advertised and discussed. I have 6 years of sales experience in staffing/recruiting partnerships, and they had unrealistic expectations for metrics. They were also hiring college grads as recruiters, which isn't the direction I want to go in at this point in my career. I didn't get an offer, but I respectfully declined any further steps the next day because we were on the same page that it wasn't for me. I wish they had been more honest about the position in the first 4 interviews, but every interview is a lesson, so I appreciated the experience.
- What is your projected appointment setting capacity in the second week?
- What is your estimate of the number of clients you could bring to the company?
Account Executive
So first you apply or they might reach out to you to recruit you. Then there's a phone screen with the recruiter. After that, a phone screen with a manager. Then you come in for an in-person where you'll meet the team. Finally, they'll decide if they make an offer or not.
- Tell me about your ability to perform under pressure.
- Describe your experience with handling rejection.
- Share some examples of how you've successfully built relationships.
