First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BDS Connected Solutions.
Content Marketing Specialist
The interview process started with an online Zoom meeting, and then I had an in-person interview at the office with two people, one of whom was my future boss. They asked typical interview questions about my background and how I envisioned my role.
- What would you prioritize when developing a marketing campaign?
Project Coordinator
I went through 3 interviews with people from BDS Connected Solutions, and each person had to approve me before I could move on to interview with the company they were hiring for. They asked me direct questions about my past work and also gave me a chance to ask them anything I wanted to know. It felt professional, and BDS Connected Solutions communicated quickly. I felt respected and treated well during the process.
- Tell me about your project coordination background.

I interviewed with them and wanted to share my experience. The process was well-organized and efficient, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt like I was given a fair chance to show off my skills and experience. The initial screening process was thorough and included a phone interview, a skills assessment, and an in-person interview with a manager. Each step was well-structured, and I felt like the questions were designed to get an accurate assessment of my abilities. During the in-person interview, the manager was friendly and professional, and I felt like I was given ample opportunity to explain my experience and demonstrate my qualifications for the role. I was also given the chance to ask questions and get a better understanding of the company and the team I would be working with.
- How do you cope with stress in an office environment?
Sales Representative
I got an email and then a call from a recruiting assistant in Orange, CA. They told me more about the company and the job. Then they said another recruiter would call to set up an interview with the hiring manager. Four days later, I had a Skype interview with the hiring manager. He talked more about the position, asked me some questions, and I asked him some questions. He said I'd hear back in two days for a final interview with the regional manager. Four days after that, a fourth person called to say I didn't get the job. Apparently, former Best Buy employees (6 months or less) weren't allowed to work ASP positions in Best Buy stores. I'm really upset if this is true, because they should have known this before contacting me, as Best Buy was on my resume. Also, too many people were involved in the process. They were email friendly.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain why you're a good fit for this role?
- Tell me about your lifestyle as it relates to the specific brand you'd be selling.
