I had an initial 30-minute call with a recruiter where we briefly discussed the role and my background. About a week later, I had a follow-up call with the hiring manager to go over the role and my background in more detail. It was mostly a chat. The hiring manager seemed quite bored and uninterested in filling the position. I couldn't tell if they already had someone in mind internally and just had to go through the motions, or if that was just their typical demeanor. We didn't get to the in-person stage.

First I spoke with the contracting agency, then I went on-site to BD. The recruiter didn't give me much info about the job, then I met with 3 managers. The first manager talked a lot about politics (he liked Trump), the second one asked mainly behavioral questions, and the third manager focused more on my qualifications. It was a really strange interview overall!

It was a simple phone call to check on logistics, then a single interview panel that lasted about an hour. They asked reasonable engineering-related questions. I got a callback with an offer after waiting a few weeks.
