First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BCBG.
Sales Associate
The interview process was very straightforward. I thought the manager was just a regular customer at first because of her attire, but she needed someone urgently and hired me immediately. I was working at the BCBG store within Dillards at La Palmera Mall. I later learned that this particular BCBG location has a very high employee turnover rate. Before long, I was the fourth person to be terminated without a clear reason under the supervision of a new manager who had only been there for two months. I strongly advise against applying here; it's a waste of time dealing with a declining business that sells overpriced, low-quality clothing.
- How would you approach and greet a customer entering the store?

This role has a lot to do with how persistent you are towards your interview. It takes around fourteen days for them to check with your most recent employer, know all about your background check. They will go through the policies and procedures; Whether you'd want to agree or not to them. They will also discuss the pay rate you'll receive and most importantly when your next availability will be. (which usually; but not always means they already consider you as part of the team). Interview process: Depends how much experience you had in the sales field, languages you are able to dominate fluently. Whether or not you have open availability. If they perceive you as a member for the team, and most of all the skills, potential and self-confidence you posses. Example: As soon as you finish your application try to give it to the manager if available. And introduce yourself to he/she and speak to her about how interested you are in the job and why this company.
- What made you decide on BCBG Max Azria?
Sales Associate
Applied online and received a call back the next day for an interview scheduled a couple days later. First was a 1-on-1 with the store manager, who was on time and professional. A week after that, I had a Facetime interview with the district manager. She called exactly on time, and it went well. When I asked about hearing back, she mentioned "no later than Monday for an interactive." I didn't hear back, so I called the store on Tuesday. The manager said the district manager had been busy but would let me know soon. After about a week and three more days of waiting, I called again, and she still said the district manager was very busy but the position was still open. I'm hesitant to keep calling but this process is taking too long.
