After that, there's a first interview with the department, which needs to be a two-way street (showing your interest in the role). They interviewed me on campus first, but the position was closed. Two months later, I got a call that a position was available. We scheduled a time, and I had two phone interviews. Since we had spoken before (a resume-focused interview), the questions were all behavioral. One interview was with a manager, and the other was with a director.
