Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BBVA.
Cashier
It was a good process. Although I wasn't selected in the end, they were very kind and detailed in explaining my shortcomings. I'll try again another time. The agent I spoke with was very professional.
- What is your experience?
- Why do you want to work in finance?
Cashier
First, you apply through an outsourced HR company. If they like your resume, they'll give you a quick phone interview (no warning). Then, they'll tell you to do a skills test on Monday. The test length depends on how fast you answer. It generally has three parts: role-playing questions, concentration, logic, and English. If you do well, you'll have an interview via Meet with HR staff and the area manager.
- Could you give a brief presentation about yourself?
- What is your motivation for applying?
- What are your weaknesses and skills?
Cashier
The hiring process for the Cashier position is stalled. After a month, there's been no progress. The initial stage, a chatbot interaction, was completed quickly, but I haven't heard back since passing it.
- Describe situations involving customer service.
