It was a really nice and professional interview experience with a great atmosphere and a welcoming interviewer. It was a much smoother process than I expected, especially after feeling nervous initially. The interviewer's positivity made it a lovely experience overall.

I found the Channel Optimization Specialist job on Indeed. First, there was a 30-minute phone screening that felt pretty standard, as the recruiter just read from a script. After that, I had an in-person interview that was supposed to be with a VP, but I ended up meeting someone else. This interviewer also seemed unprepared, reading questions from their phone. They said the interview went well and I'd hear back the next day, but I didn't. When I followed up via email, I was told I didn't get the job. Upon asking for feedback, I was told my interview was great and they were impressed, but other candidates had more YouTube experience. I then realized this was advertised as a paid internship with training, but they expected candidates to have YouTube experience and offered only a week of training before a 6-month client contract with no guarantee of further work. Reviews suggest this company generally doesn't pay well. The whole process was quick, taking about 2 weeks, very structured, and the headquarters were impressive. It felt like they were trying to get qualified work done for intern pay.

I applied on indeed and got a phone call about a week later, no cover letter needed, just my resume. The call was nice, she asked me to talk about three things I'm good at and three things I want to get better at. Lots of questions too about how I'd be a good team member at Bbtv. Then, I had an in-person interview. It was just me and one interviewer, and it felt more like a chat. They went over the job basics and the company really well.
