I had to get ready a presentation about a potential patient, detailing their background, diagnosis, and cause. Also got asked about my strengths and weaknesses, how I handle conflict or respond when someone disagrees with my professional suggestions, and how my values align with the BBC guidelines. They also wanted to know about a recent topic I’d like to cover and one thing I believe the show could improve.

Had a phone call screening interview, then some more follow up phone calls. After that was a structured interview where I had to present a work task to a panel. The task itself was to be completed in my own time. The HR person was nice and easy to talk to during the whole process.

The interview process included a competency-based interview and a presentation, along with some technical tasks. They asked a lot of questions about my past experience, wanting specific examples. They also wanted to understand my beliefs and why I was specifically interested in working for them.
