The interview had two panelists who didn't seem very interested and didn't engage much. They kept things very by-the-book, no small talk. They didn't even say who they were or what they do. All they asked about was BBC values, which felt a bit one-note.

Applied online and heard back about two weeks after the deadline. I got a phone call, and then was invited to an in-person interview at Broadcasting House in London. The recruiter I spoke with was really nice. They sent an email confirming the interview details the same day. During the interview, which was with two people, they asked competency-based questions that were pretty basic. I kind of realized the job wasn't really for me because the person I'd be working for wasn't really my 'cup of tea', even though they seemed okay. It turned out to be a two-stage interview process, which they didn't mention until I asked, especially since the person I'd be assisting wasn't part of the first interview. Almost two weeks later, I got a call saying I didn't get the job. It was fine though, as I probably wouldn't have gone to the second interview anyway, and I'd already been offered another job.
