A branch manager I knew from my time at Target referred me for a seasonal position. After applying, I waited. Post-New Years, the manager asked for my resume to give to her boss. About six weeks after applying, I got the call for an interview. The interview itself was straightforward and professional, lasting about 6 weeks from application to offer. I was offered the job on the spot. The interviewer clearly stated her expectations. My pay and schedule weren't discussed during this initial interview. I then waited a week to hear from the area manager, who finally called to discuss my pay and instruct me to sign the official offer letter and authorize a background check via my candidate portal. I haven't been told about a drug test yet, but I have to complete my fingerprinting tomorrow. The area manager said I'd get a call about my schedule once the background check cleared. The people were very nice, and I felt it was the right opportunity at the right time.

It took a long time for the branch manager to call me in for an interview even though the hiring manager told me I'd hear back within a week. She had many excuses for why she was running behind. Unprofessional and she seemed uneducated on many aspects of the bank I brought up.
