Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bayview Asset Management.
Financial Analyst
The interview process had 3 rounds. The first was with the hiring manager. The second round involved SQL and Python. The last round was an Excel project that I had to complete and then present to a panel. Overall, it wasn't a great experience because they were not very communicative or supportive with instructions between rounds.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Financial Analyst
The interview process included an Excel test focusing on advanced functions for the first round. Following that, there was a phone interview to assess logic and personality, with about a week separating the two stages.
- Can you calculate the annuity for a set of loans using advanced Excel functions?
- Could you demonstrate your proficiency with advanced Excel functions?
Financial Analyst
Had an HR call for about 30 mins covering some basic behavior questions. Then spoke with a senior financial analyst for another 30 mins about finance topics. It was pretty basic, just needed to know fundamental financial knowledge.
- Tell me about the biggest challenge you've encountered.
