Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baylor College of Medicine.
Software Engineer
Had an initial interview over zoom with a team of developers. It was a technical round focusing on easy LeetCode and SQL questions. It was pretty straightforward. They took a while to get back to me. They did help out with questions when I was stuck.
- Could you solve the Two Sum LeetCode problem?
Software Engineer
They asked when I was free for a quick online chat, but then ghosted me for 12 days even after I followed up. Out of nowhere, they set up an interview for the next day without providing any meeting link. What a joke.
- When would you be available for a short interview?
Software Engineer
Had one interview straight with the hiring manager. They were super chill and didn't ask too many technical questions. It really depends on the team you're trying to get into though, some teams might have tougher interviews or look for different stuff.
- Can you explain the different types of SQL joins?
