Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BAYADA Home Health Care.
Associate
I got a call from HR to set up the first phone chat. The HR person was super nice and knew a lot about the job and the company. Then I met the Director of the office, who was also really great and friendly. Both these chats were mostly about my resume and getting to know me. The last interview was with the Divisional Director about a week after that. She was really experienced and wanted to learn more about me, asking some behavioral questions too. Both took about an hour. The big downside was getting a call from HR a week later saying they didn't have the budget to hire anyone, even after I went through the whole process. Really terrible experience and a total waste of my time.

Associate
I got contacted by a recruiter mid-week and had my first interview with the office director the following Monday. It was pretty easy, with standard interview questions like 'What are you strengths and weaknesses' and 'tell me about yourself'. A few days later, the recruiter reached out again and asked me to do some online assessments. One took about an hour and included math problems, SAT-style analogies, and a behavioral assessment. There was also a timed assessment that's impossible to finish. After that, I had two more interviews: one with another director in a nearby town and another with the area director. These weren't too tough, though the area director asked a lot about how I'd handle different situations. The whole process from the recruiter's first contact to the job offer took just under 4 weeks.
- Be ready for tough assessments, even though the interview questions themselves weren't hard.
Associate Director
The interview process was really long. I had to go through about 4 or 5 separate interviews with different people from various teams to make it to the end.
- In your first 90 days, what would be your top 3 priorities?
