Baxter Technician Interview Questions
& Process

So I had this hirevue assessment thing. It had 3 questions where I had to do a video recording. I got 2 tries for each and had a set time to prep and then record for 2.5 mins. The 4th question was written, no time limit. They asked about me, my software experience, and why Baxter for the videos. For the written part, it was basic stuff like right to work, salary expectations, and notice period.

I had three separate interviews. The first was an on-site with my direct supervisor and team lead, which was expected as they would be my managers. It lasted about half an hour and the questions were relevant to the job. The next day, I had another on-site interview with the maintenance manager and the process engineer. I found the engineer's presence a bit odd for an entry-level maintenance role, unless it was for their training. The manager asked relevant questions about the job. The third interview was on Zoom, at the same location but starting 30 minutes after the previous one. It was with HR and started 15 minutes late due to some issues, making it seem like they weren't prepared. The HR questions were irrelevant and technical, and I felt they lacked the expertise to assess my answers. The HR interview felt hostile and unprepared, especially with the lateness. The first two interviews made sense, but the HR part seemed unnecessary and redundant, almost like the interviewer didn't understand their role or the job I was applying for.

So there was a remote interview and then one in person at the service center. They asked some basic questions about my work history and skills. We went over my previous jobs and experience with troubleshooting and what tech I used for records.
