I applied online and heard back maybe two weeks later. They called me and we scheduled an interview and they were pretty flexible with the time. I sat down with the department manager and the Team Lead. The interview itself was pretty easy going and lasted about an hour. A few days later, I got a call to come back for a second interview. This time I met with the previous manager's manager. He asked me a few questions about my intentions with the company and then he made me an offer.

I applied online for a cashier role, but it wasn't what I really wanted. A few days later, I got a call for an interview. I met with a really nice HR lady. She saw my hobbies and experience as a traveler and camper and guessed I'd prefer the camping department, which was right! It was cool the company let me pick my department. She asked about my camping background - places I've been, how often I go, and if I prefer tents or RVs. ANSWER HONESTLY! Then came some basic questions like why Bass Pro and what my friends would say is my worst trait. Two days later, I got another call for a second interview. I was supposed to meet the camping manager, but the fishing manager and his partner interviewed me instead. It was about 45 minutes of questions where they just wanted to get to know me better and have me ready for anything. Study up, and you'll get the job! They said they'd call if anything came up, and I left feeling good. Two days after that, they called to talk about an offer. They offered less than I asked for, but with a written pay increase after 90 days. I accepted and filled out a questionnaire right away.
