- What do you consider your greatest weakness?
Cashier
I interviewed with Josh who told me they were in urgent need of staff due to a resignation and that my availability matched their needs. Given my extensive retail and some management background, we also touched on a potential supervisor opening. I was expecting to hear back by Tuesday, with instructions to contact McKenzie in HR on Wednesday if not. Despite calling on Wednesday and leaving a message, I only received an email notification that they had hired someone else. This lack of direct communication from both the hiring manager and HR was unprofessional and left me feeling disappointed and frustrated.
- What are your general interview answers?
- Were there any easy questions?
Store Associate
I had an interview with an HR rep. It was straightforward with simple questions. A drug test was required and done at a clinic. Then, a background check was initiated. It took them 6 weeks to tell me anything about my status. They made a lowball offer, which was barely above minimum wage, even though I have experience.
- Can you describe a time you exceeded expectations to assist a customer?
