The first interview was in-person, which felt a bit strange given covid. I learned about the work hours being 7am to 5pm and that initial vacation time is about two weeks, increasing by one day annually. Although the interview went okay, they mentioned both the role I applied for and another position were paying $42k, which was non-negotiable, stating it's pretty set in stone because Barton is a big company. It seems like a big company should offer better pay due to economies of scale, but they just don't want to. We mutually decided not to proceed since I wasn't interested in accepting such a low offer.

This was one of the weirdest interviews I've had. The interviewer showed up in a windbreaker and jean shorts, which was unprofessional given the business formal dress code request. He seemed unprepared, used informal language like 'bro' and 'dude,' and his response to my research about their telehealth system was a dismissive 'oh yeah, that sounded legit.' When I asked for more details, he said 'nah, not really.' The interview ended after a few more questions. It was neither good nor bad, just unprofessional and unprepared. Maybe I missed the company culture since I was looking for a corporate environment.

It started with a phone screen by a recruiter, then I had an in person interview. It was a three person interview, all in one visit. I was interviewing for the Account Manager role, but ended up hired as a Fulfillment Specialist, which is now Staffing Specialist. So I met with a group manager and team manager for the AM position and a team manager for the FS position.
