Communication Manager
I applied online and mentioned I was a finalist last time. Weeks later, a recruiter emailed asking for answers to some questions and to create work product. I did that right away, but it's been two months and no word, even after asking for an update.
- Could you tell me about the communication campaigns you've been involved with?
- What's your approach to drafting an internal communication for a new employee-first initiative?
- Can you provide a short example of how you'd manage a press release for a new store opening in Seattle?
Assistant Manager
It was a one-on-one interview with the district manager. It seems that store managers don't know who they are getting until the position is filled, and you just show up to their store on your first shift. I'd suggest stopping by before your first day. My store manager said that was a big relief for me beforehand.
- Tell me about your experience with handling cash.
- Are you able to do basic math?
- How would you manage a challenging customer?
Assistant Manager
Got the job right after a chat where I answered some questions. I had an interview with the Manager before this one, which was with the District Manager. She seemed really fair and genuine. I was so happy to know I got hired when I left.
- Can you discuss your prior management roles?
