Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by an internal recruiter, but they weren't very responsive. It seemed like they had other people as a higher priority, so I had to wait a while for them to reply to my messages, usually 2-4 days after I first reached out. The first interview was a screening call with HR, and then there was a Zoom call with three other people. The interview felt condescending because one of the interviewers made fun of my qualifications. I got the impression they thought they were superior and more intelligent. There was another person there who you could tell didn't want to be participating. The whole interview lacked respect and was a waste of my time because you're being interviewed by people who either think they're better than you or don't have the time to be there.

Behavioral Other

I had an interview with a recruiter and two project managers. The recruiter went over the job details and the company culture. He was very direct about the downsides of the company, which I appreciated. One of the project managers also asked about my past experience and described a typical day for a project engineer. Overall, it was a positive interview experience.

Behavioral

The recruiter was super friendly and responsive. However, the hiring managers seemed a bit worried about job security. They mentioned there's no real career growth path because they prefer hiring people who want to stay as engineers long-term. There isn't much in terms of training or career development either, so they tend to hire folks with very specific experience to avoid having to invest extra time in them.
