The interview process was pretty standard. I first spoke with the wife, who was nice, then the husband, the COO. He was really rude, though. They offer a low salary and expect you to work in the office five days a week, with no flexibility. When I mentioned I was looking for a remote role, he got upset and insisted that success is only possible in person and that remote work isn't viable. I disagreed, citing my four years of successful remote work, which he didn't take well. His rudeness, combined with other negative reviews I'd seen, made me decide not to proceed. He also dismissed the bad reviews as coming from lazy people who didn't want to succeed. I don't recommend wasting your time here.

We had a video call that was scheduled through Google Calendar. This was the first stage of the interview. The operations manager was very friendly and personable. We were asked to keep our cameras on. They inquired about my interest in the role and included a role-play exercise. Apart from the role-play, the interview was very smooth and enjoyable.

I originally applied for a different role and made it all the way to the CEO interview. The CEO told me I'd have to remove my nose ring if I got the job. I agreed, but wished the earlier interviewers had mentioned this policy. I didn't get that job, which was crushing. The next day, another role opened up, and they invited me to interview for it. I still wanted to give them a chance. I met with the team lead and then the COO again in person. I thought this meant I'd be hired, but I was wrong. After the interview, I found out I didn't get the job. It felt like a total waste of time given how long the process was.

The process was a bit all over the place. First, there was a video interview where I had to record myself answering some questions. If I passed that, I was given a design challenge. The challenge involved redesigning a client's website using Squarespace. Finally, I had to meet with the Design Lead and the CEO for the last round.
