Interviewer lags but the team is nice. This shouldn't stop you from applying; it's worth a shot! This isn't a negative review, but a realistic view of my interview. A friend who works there recommended me, and I liked the team members I met at an event, so I applied. I had a few good phone calls with the Barkley recruiting team, who said I did well and would be considered. Then, I didn't hear back for months because of internal adjustments, and they said they'd get back to me in the new year. It's disappointing that a talented company like Barkley doesn't pay more attention to potential candidates. They're a respected agency, and I wish they'd uphold that standard with potential talent.

I went through a few phone calls first, about 2 rounds, and then I came in for in-person interviews. There were several interviews with different people, some were in the room and some outside the room. I also got a tour.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

There were five rounds of interviews. It started with a phone call with my future supervisor. Then there was a day of interviews with senior managers. After that, I had one-on-ones with executive management. The last interview was a one-on-one with the client. The interviews focused on my advertising experience, leadership skills, retail background, strategy experience, and client relationships. The company culture is described as "employee-owned" which leads to an "everyone is equal" egalitarian approach, so there are no bonuses and benefits.
