I applied directly and heard back from HR within a few weeks about a phone call. They forgot to call initially but did reach out after I sent a follow-up email. The conversation went well until compensation came up. HR couldn't provide a salary range or confirm if it matched my last compensation. They never got back to me after that, so I was ghosted. It seems like the compensation might be below market rate, and the HR person was unprofessional, unable to discuss or reply. Based on other reviews, it seems like incompetent HR is a common issue.

So, it was a pretty long interview process. First, I had a chat with someone from HR. Then, I met with the hiring manager for about half an hour. After that, I spent three hours in interviews with various team members, covering both behavioral and technical stuff. The next step was a 2.5 hour case study, and then I had a 1-hour session with the hiring manager to go over feedback on the case.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was contacted by HR for an initial interview. The first round involved discussions with a direct manager and a colleague, where I learned more about the role. The second round included a meeting with a superior and another colleague, which was a good chance to ask about work-life balance. The process concluded with a brief HR meeting. An offer was extended about a week later.
