Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bardel Entertainment.
Animator
Had two interviews, one with HR and another with the animation team. They were nice people and the interview was nice. They asked typical animation studio questions about process and relating to team members. The interview was online.
- Can you describe your work process?
- How do you work with other team members?
Animator
The whole process was done really professionally, using their own zoom portal and email. It went pretty fast because they needed someone soon for production. There were two rounds: first a chat with HR, and then a panel interview with about 5 leads. They mostly asked about my past experience with pipelines and software to see where I stood skill-wise. It was a good experience overall, even though I was super nervous.
- Which productions have you been a part of previously?
- Could you explain the workflow from past roles?
- How do you handle constructive criticism?
Storyboard Revisionist
It was a great atmosphere and conversation that helped me better understand the position offered. It was presented to the bosses and a summary of what would be required. Questions about me and how I handled some situations. Very kind and thoughtful people.
- Tell me about yourself and how you approach situations at work, drawing from past experiences.
