& Process

The whole process was done really professionally, using their own zoom portal and email. It went pretty fast because they needed someone soon for production. There were two rounds: first a chat with HR, and then a panel interview with about 5 leads. They mostly asked about my past experience with pipelines and software to see where I stood skill-wise. It was a good experience overall, even though I was super nervous.

So, it was a pretty standard interview process. They asked me about my experience in the industry, and we also went over my reel. They hit me with some technical questions about the personal projects I'd worked on. The bummer part is they never got back to me after the interview. The hiring manager told me like four times they were still deciding and interviewing other people to make a final decision, and in the end, I never got a solid answer.

So at first the interviewer mostly asked me about the kind of work I've done before and what other experiences I had. Then, the next part was Q&A. I asked the supervisor and HR about why there were two similar DMP positions and what the working contents differences were. After they answered, I said I'd prefer the earlier position. But HR told me to wait, as they still had other applicants to review.

I applied online and then got an email to come in for an interview at the studio. It was a one-on-one meeting with a Manager to check my skills and see if I was a good fit personality-wise. Everyone was nice and the whole thing was pretty organized. They told me I'd hear back in a week, and they actually did. I really liked that they were so formal and on time with their decision, it's rare these days.
