Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Barbour.
Sales Representative
It was pretty straightforward and chill. They asked about my background and when I could start. We did it over Zoom since I couldn't get to the store. They also asked about my schooling and how I'd deal with different customer situations. Overall, it was a good experience.
- How would you respond to a customer's question?
Sales
The interview process was really fast. I knew I wouldn't get the job because they only asked about 3 questions. It would have been better if they had asked some questions like why do you want to work for the company?
- Can you describe your current role?
- What motivates you to want to work for this company?
Sales Assistant
It was a quick and easy interview, a one-on-one chat, not a group thing. They asked me stuff about how much I knew about the brand and my experience. And like, what's the most important thing in work. They also asked if I owned any Barbour stuff and why I liked the brand.
- What makes you like Barbour?
- What's your related experience?
- What's the most important thing in work?
