Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baptist Health (Florida).
Registered Nurse
The interview process was really thorough and efficient, and overall, I had a positive experience. The units I met on hiring day were super friendly and welcoming throughout the whole interview. I'd recommend interviewing here if you're a new grad nurse looking for a good first interview experience and want to see what Baptist has to offer.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Registered Nurse
Scheduling the interview with the recruiter was a major challenge. I eventually got an interview by attending a job fair, and I was hired almost right away.
- What motivates your desire to become a Labor & Delivery Nurse?
Registered Nurse
I was referred by a friend and had an interview that lasted about 1.5 hours. First, the manager interviewed me, and then I was interviewed by another nurse. I was asked several behavior and situation-based questions, as well as about my strengths and weaknesses. The manager contacted me the following week for a second interview with the nurse navigator and the director of nursing. I recommend checking out their Facebook page for updates on events and community outreach; I got some great talking points from there. They are also applying for Magnet status again.
