Technical Coding Behavioral Presentation

So the interview process had 3 steps. First, there was a HackerRank timed test, then an interview with an HR rep, and finally a presentation to a panel of data science experts. The timed test had a bunch of multiple choice questions covering data science theory, SQL stuff, and pseudo-code. It also had two coding challenges, one in Python and one in SQL. The second interview was with HR and asked general questions. The third and final round was the panel presentation where they went deeper into data science topics.

A recruiter reached out about a month after I applied online. I had a phone interview, then two more rounds with directors and managers over Teams. They were really accommodating since I was out of town during the process.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process started with a 45-minute technical test covering basic programming, data science, and finance-focused business strategy, involving 13 questions. This was followed by an external HR interview with CIVA, which the candidate chose not to continue with due to a negative experience. The issues encountered included the HR being late, not allowing time for questions, hanging up mid-conversation, and pushing for a salary expectation without providing job details. Finally, there was a planned 15-minute presentation panel with questions, but this stage was not reached by the candidate.
