Customer Service Representative
it was very routine and formal, nothing special, no extraordinary questions, most focus on your customer service, sales background, teamwork, and, your future goals if you hired, abilities time management. work with challenges,
- Can you walk me through your work history?
- Tell me about your background in customer service.
- What is your experience in sales?
Customer Service Representative
I had 2 interviews, the first one was a phone call with HR and then the second one was in person with the branch manager. The HR interview was pretty standard - they asked about me, my work history, availability, some scenarios, and what I knew about the company and its products. The interview with the branch manager was also a good experience. They tried not to ask the same questions and changed them up. Since I've been a CSR before at another financial institution, the questions could get pretty detailed and long. Both interviewers were really nice and professional, and they were on time. Even though they ended up hiring an internal candidate, they still let all applicants know the decision and thanked us. The whole thing took about a week and a half.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What makes you want to work here and what value can you add?
- What do you know about this company?
Customer Service Agent
So I had this screening interview on Dec 18, 2024, for a bank job. It was mostly about how my background fits what they need and some client interaction scenarios. The recruiter seemed super nice and positive, and the chat lasted about 40 mins. But then, it was kinda a bummer to see my application status go to rejected online right after. The recruiter really made it sound like I nailed it during the interview, so getting an instant rejection felt a bit off and not really professional. It's just annoying to get your hopes up, and then have the decision made without any follow-up or explanation. So yeah, the interview part was okay, but the way they handled the rejection and the lack of transparency wasn't great.
- What's your understanding of the role and what would you be doing?
- What makes you interested in joining the National Bank of Canada?
- Can you share an example of a time you resolved a difficult client issue?
