Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bankers Life.
Sales Associate
We had a group brief and initial interview, which was mainly for your info. They talked about the whole job scope. Covered company principles and procedures. Went over all the certification and licensing needs. Talked about profit incentives. Discussed sales outlook. Mentioned management pathways.
- What are your career aspirations?
- Describe how you resolve conflicts with colleagues.
- What qualities define a good leader?
Sales Associate
The interview process started with a group interview where candidates were introduced to the company and the work. After that, there was a short form to fill out about myself. The second interview was a brief 5-minute chat with the manager to discuss my resume, followed by another group interview focusing more on the company, salary, and benefits. They also mentioned paid training. I was then called for a third interview, which turned out to be a job offer, but I declined it.
- What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
Sales Associate
The interview process involves being lied to about benefits and commission. It's a pyramid scheme where you can only make money by scamming people into buying things they don't need. Avoid this place. They also lie about the deal for the test.
- Are you willing to meet people every day and go door-to-door?
