Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bank Of Hope.
Intern
The whole process took around a month. It started with an optional pre-screening, then there was a back-to-back 30-minute interview round, followed by a final in-person round that was also back-to-back for 45 minutes.
- Can you explain the connection between IS and BS?
Intern
The final interview was more of a chat. The interviewers shared their experiences and gave career advice. This last round was more conversational compared to the earlier technical rounds.
- Can you explain how to calculate EBITDA?
- Could you define DCF?
- Do you have knowledge of accounting principles?
Intern
I went through 3 rounds of interviews over about 2 months. The first one was behavioral and a little technical. The second one was all technical. The last interview was an in-person super day. The team was really nice and the culture is great.
