First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bank Mandiri.
Management Trainee
It was pretty straightforward. First, they wanted to know about my introduction, motives, and goals in the company. The second phase required a bit of technical and banking knowledge to be able to do well, so it requires a bit of preparation regarding that.
- Can you tell me what you know about Bank Mandiri's values?
Assistant Manager
The interview was nice. Even though I was a bit nervous, the interviewer welcomed me kindly and asked questions politely. First, I had to do an aptitude test. Then, they called me to a room to introduce myself. In there, I was asked to present my innovation for the company. They asked several questions about my skills, school, and family. At the end, we shook hands, and I waited about one day for the interview result. The email said I was qualified to go to the next step, which is a medical check-up.
- What is your innovation for the company?
- What are your skills?
- Tell me about your school.
Customer Relationship Manager
The interviewers were relaxed and created a conversational atmosphere, with some peer pressure but not overwhelming. The overall environment was very positive. You'll need to present yourself, your accomplishments, and explain your interest in the role and why you've chosen Bank Mandiri. If your academic background isn't in economics, they'll also want to understand your reasons for pursuing a career in banking.
