I sent in my application via LinkedIn and got a reply the very next day. They sent me a questionnaire to fill out about myself, some banking-related stuff, and to rank my internship interests like commercial banking, IT, private banking, project management, and strategy. I emailed it back and they set up a phone interview for the next day. The call was short, like 15 minutes, just to make sure I was still interested in Leumi and to confirm my top 3 internship choices. About a week later, I got invited to a super day. It started at 9 am with an hour of mingling with other applicants and recruiters, plus a video about Leumi, which felt like it could have been way shorter. From 10-11 am, there was a roundtable with the chiefs of staff from Private and Commercial Banking. I thought this was great and got to ask a bunch of questions, but some people were totally silent. Then from 11-12 pm, a panel discussion with past interns happened, which was okay but felt a bit self-indulgent. Lunch was from 12-1 pm, paid for by the bank, and the previous interns stuck around to chat. The afternoon, from 1-3:30 pm, had interviews with breaks in between. They tried to match interviewers with my top 3 internship preferences, but I only got two, and the third was with someone from a totally different department. The interviews were mostly behavioral, checking my interest in the roles. The only technical question I got was for Project Management and Strategy, asking how I'd implement an idea across the bank. If you mention blockchain, be ready to talk about it seriously. I heard back with an offer a week later but turned it down because I got my dream internship. This was the best super day I've been to; Leumi seems to really care about interns. My only suggestion is they should help with travel and accommodation costs for interns coming from out of town, as it limits the applicant pool.

The process starts with you submitting the application. Then if your application is selected, you are asked to record a video and submit it to Leumi Bank. If you further go through, there is Superday, which goes on for several hours. For me, it was a great experience as there was an information session where we met the officials of the Bank and also the past interns who have already worked there. In addition, there was a lunch and networking session which was amazing and helpful to connect to Leumi Bank Professionals. At last, there were final round interviews with various professionals of the Bank. I believe that it was a very good process and was carried out in an amazing and professional manner. The people at the Bank are very friendly and understands each other very well. I would highly recommend any other person to interview for this place.

The process involved submitting an online application on LinkedIn, then sending a 2-minute video explaining my qualifications for the role, followed by a phone interview, and finally a Super Day event with around 30 other candidates who made it to the final stage.
