The recruiting process was very thorough and transparent. It involved 6 Zoom calls: one with my manager, a technical interview with my manager, one with the CHRO, one with 3 stakeholders, a 'Day in the Life' call, and a Predictive Index assessment. I had a very open discussion with my manager about mutual expectations.

Applied online and HR reached out. The HR person was super nice and really great. Then I met with the hiring manager and his boss. They were friendly, but the interview questions weren't really about the job. They focused on academic theory instead of practical stuff. The hiring manager seemed more into textbook examples than the actual job duties. His boss seemed bored and cut the interview short, like the hiring manager already decided against me. I interviewed on a Friday and got a generic rejection Sunday night. It felt unfair because my candidacy wasn't properly evaluated. HR gave no feedback afterwards. It was a weird experience – super nice upfront, but then rude and sneaky. The job required an MBA, but they were replacing someone who left to get an MBA and was an intern promoted into the role. They ended up not hiring anyone and changed the experience requirement after I applied. My family in finance had warned me about office politics in Israeli companies.

Super day was super fun and stress-free! Started with a chief-of-staff panel about Bank Leumi's strategy, then a panel with previous interns sharing their summer experiences. Had a networking lunch to chat with current employees. The actual interviews were three 20-minute conversations, felt more relaxed than typical interviews, allowing me to ask lots of questions about the company.

The recruiter reached out about a different position that I might be a good fit for after I didn't get the first role I applied for. I talked to the hiring manager and then met with two more people. The interviews went well. The people there seemed really enthusiastic about the company. It wasn't a typical interview; they were more focused on getting to know me as a person rather than just what was on my resume to ensure they hired the right people.
