Got reached out by a field leader about a Practice Manager role, and had a 30-minute interview. A week later, had a second interview with the same leader and a peer. Was told I'd hear back the next day about whether I was selected, but never did. Tried contacting the leader through calls, texts, and emails, but got no response. The position was filled a month after the initial contact.

The process was long. First, I had a 1-hour phone call with a recruiter. Then, I went to a hospital for a 1.5-hour interview with a field director. This interview was very engaging, with detailed questions requiring detailed responses, not just generic answers. After that, there were some emails, and then I shadowed a practice manager for 3 hours. This shadowing was to ensure I was a good fit and to allow me to ask questions. It's important to ask many educated questions, as they will be evaluated. The shadowing also provided a real look into the practice manager's experience and Banfield's culture. This was followed by a 1-hour phone interview with HR, and finally, another 1-hour phone interview with the VP of the region. After all that, I received the job offer.

Behavioral Presentation

The whole process took about 6 weeks. It started with a phone interview. After two weeks of no news, I reached out via email to see if the role was filled. On the same day, I got an email asking me to schedule an in-person interview with the field directors for the following week. The week after that, I did a shadowing visit at the hospital, which went really well. I made sure to ask plenty of questions to really understand what the job would entail. The next day, they emailed to say they were interested but there were still a couple more interviews. The following week, I interviewed with the regional HR director and later that same week, had another phone interview with the RVP, who was very nice. I received an offer on the same day as my final interview.
