So first you'll chat with a recruiter over the phone or video, just to see if you're a good fit and talk about your background. After that, there are usually one or more tech interviews. These might involve some coding, talking about system design, or working through problems. If you do well, you'll probably have some onsite or virtual interviews with the team, where they'll ask you both technical and behavioral questions. Usually, there's a final chat with the hiring manager before they make a decision.

The recruiter got in touch after I applied, not right away. A week later, I was set up for a manager interview. The recruiter then messaged me to let me know I'd be scheduled for a loop, instead of sending an email. The loop happened another week after that. It lasted about 3 hours total. First, there was an hour with two interviewers covering behavioral questions and two pretty straightforward coding questions. Then, 30 minutes with a different interviewer focusing on behavioral and a somewhat tricky question. After that, an hour with two more interviewers for system design and behavioral questions. Finally, there was supposed to be 30 minutes with the hiring manager. It was all one continuous call, but unfortunately, the third interviewer ended the session. It took an extra 15 minutes to reconnect for the hiring manager chat, and I didn't get much time with them because of the lost connection. I thought the loop itself went well, and the interviewers were nice. I followed up with the recruiter a week later, and it's been three weeks since the loop with no response yet.

The whole interview thing took about a week. It started with an HR phone screen, then a pre-screen test, and finally an on-site interview. I had 3 interviews in total, and each one was about an hour long. The first interviewer was kind of a jerk, super self-absorbed and even told me he thought he was sexy. I had two interviewers for the second interview, and they were pretty cool. The third interviewer also seemed pretty cool, but he seemed a bit lost on his own questions. I'm not sure what else they were looking for, I felt like I got most of the stuff right, maybe I just didn't fit their culture.
