Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baloise Group.
Management Trainee
After an online application, there were reasoning and numerical tests. This was followed by an interview with HR and a business partner (both one-on-one). We discussed the online test results and expectations, experiences, etc. The final stage was an assessment day. The response to the application took 5 weeks, and further follow-up also always took a very long time. Emails in between remained unanswered.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Risk Manager
I went through three interviews for this role. First, I spoke with HR. Then, I had interviews with the team lead and the department head, who asked me questions about my experience and knowledge. As part of the process, they also emailed two of my references.
- What are your salary expectations and what is the reasoning behind them?
Management Trainee
The hiring process was really well-organized and clear from the start. The interviews themselves were very pleasant, and the questions were challenging but always appropriate. Overall, a really great application process.
- What about our business areas fascinates you?
