First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baloise Group.
E-Commerce Manager
The conversation was pleasant, but it wasn't entirely clear what the job would entail. Additionally, it was noticeable that the company is currently undergoing significant changes, and I was repeatedly informed that the mood is very tense right now. The position itself was to be redefined after all the conversations. Unfortunately, certain future outlooks, such as the promise to get back within the next 2 months, were not kept. This did not align with the otherwise very transparent and fair initial impression.
- What do you expect from us and what do you need to work efficiently?
Financial Partner
The interview process was well-structured and fair, with interesting questions and discussions. There were multiple rounds with different interviewers. The company was presented well, and the job responsibilities were clearly outlined. The only tricky part was understanding the compensation system.
- How will you be successful in this role?
Administrator
First, an online 1-on-1 conversation with HR. General questions were asked, probing motivation and competencies. Afterwards, an in-person meeting with the team leader. The process went smoothly, and both HR and the team leader were pleasant to talk to.
- What motivates you to apply to Baloise and this specific role?
- Could you tell us about your competencies and interests?
Dossierbeheerder
First, you submit your application with your resume and cover letter. Then, your experience and knowledge are screened. If that goes well, you'll be invited for an online numerical test and a language test. After that, there's a first meeting with the recruiter where they'll introduce the role, explain how the company works, and ask more questions about your profile. Finally, there's a final interview with the person in charge for a first introduction, possibly more tests, and a presentation of how things work. Lastly, they'll make a job offer detailing the terms.
- What is your motivation?
- Can you tell us about your past experiences?
- How would you solve certain problem scenarios?
