Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ball Corporation.
Intern
I applied for an internship at Ball Corporation. First, I had a very standard HR interview about my major, my availability for an internship, and my skills. Then, I was called to the company and did an Excel activity where they gave me a spreadsheet and I had to organize it and do some basic calculations, nothing advanced. On the same day, I had an interview with the engineering manager where he explained my role and daily tasks and asked me generic questions. I was approved.
- Tell me a quality and a defect.
Intern
Great experience, it was just a conversation and profile detailing with the area managers, detailing the resume, experiences and career. It was divided into two stages, the first interview with HR and the second with the manager. After that, it's mostly the bureaucratic paperwork. The response was a bit slow.
- Can you detail your profile and resume?
Quality Intern
I had a phone call with HR who said they would pass me to the hiring manager, but then I got ghosted and never heard back about another interview. I sent emails multiple times, but they only replied five weeks later to say someone else got the job.
