I had a quick preliminary chat with the hiring rep from GNC. They hinted that doing advanced academic research might be a downside for working at Ball because Ball prefers more conventional control strategies. It kinda makes sense, but I'd think knowing advanced stuff would mean you know the basics too, right? It was a short interview, only 15 minutes, and I'm not optimistic about moving forward.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved two phone screenings and one in-person interview. The entire experience, from the interviews to the background check, spanned about four months, with significant gaps between each stage. The team was professional and transparent about expectations throughout. While the duration felt lengthy, it was understandable from the company's viewpoint.
