Technical Writer
The interview process begins with the hiring manager for round 1. You'll need to provide writing samples and complete a live written test. If you pass the written test, you'll proceed to more rounds with the product manager, CPO, and then a final round with the CEO.

Marketing Director
I got contacted by a recruiter the day after I submitted my resume and we had a call the day before a holiday. It was a bit off-putting because the interviewer seemed really unhappy and didn't smile at all. She kept pushing for more metrics and KPIs, which I did give her. When I asked about why the previous person left, her answer was kind of vague and she even contradicted herself. She also didn't explain why the previous senior marketing exec had left. Her attitude and lack of friendliness didn't give me a good vibe about the company. I then interviewed with the hiring manager the next week. He also didn't seem to know anything about the departures. He said he'd compare notes with the recruiter and get back to me, but it's been weeks and I haven't heard anything. Total ghosting.
- Can you provide metrics like SQLs, conversions, and pipeline contribution for your past campaigns?

Software Engineer
There were a total of 7 rounds in the interview process. The first 6 rounds were a great experience, with friendly and supportive interviewers during the coding interviews. The CTO seemed genuinely concerned about engineer well-being, and the recruiter was excellent – prompt, communicative, and accommodating to my request for an expedited process. The interview process spanned 3 to 3.5 weeks, with each round on a separate day, which was a nice change from back-to-back interviews. The rounds included: 1st - Recruiter Screening, 2nd - Online Assessment (Codility with 3 questions: 1 LeetCode medium, 2 class implementations), 3rd - 1st technical video interview (1 LeetCode medium with optimization follow-ups), 4th - 2nd technical video interview (2 system design questions), 5th - Hiring Manager interview (general background), 6th - CTO interview (general background), and finally, 7th - interview with the CEO.
- What superpower do you possess?
- Is Python my preferred programming language?
- Can you describe how you define quality in your work or product?
UI Engineer
The whole thing took about 2 weeks, maybe more. The team seemed super nice, but honestly, my experience was pretty rough. Maybe it wasn't the right time for them to hire, or they just didn't have an open spot. On the plus side, the product is awesome and the engineering team is really talented. But on the downside, things felt really disorganized. They seemed unprepared for my interview, to the point where no one greeted me when I arrived, and it took them a couple of minutes to realize I was even supposed to be there. The interviewers didn't seem very interested in what they were doing at Balbix. The CEO was also really unfriendly and unprofessional, coming across as overconfident and a bit negligent. The rejection email was totally generic, no explanation at all, which really shows how much they care about applicants. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get an offer. It feels like they don't care about each other either. I thought I answered everything well, but I got rejected with no real feedback. The whole process was super unorganized – no clear steps, no heads-up on who would be interviewing me. I really think they didn't have an open role. My advice: don't give candidates false hope about an offer if you're not sure, because we have other things going on. Be clear upfront. The hiring VP talked about salary expectations like they were going to move forward, which gave me the wrong impression. Also, please prepare for interviews or reschedule if key people can't make it. Don't make candidates drive over 50 miles twice a week just to interview with one person. Make the process more transparent – tell us who's on the panel so we can prepare better. And have a clear idea of who you want to hire. No feedback means no real opening or you just don't care.
- Can you confirm if an NDA was presented?
