First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baker Hughes.
Technician
The first stage was contact by email, after an online interview. Only one interview with no feedback, even after stating they really liked the profile. I think a response would be fair, whether positive or negative.
- Do you have experience?
Laboratory Technician
the interview covered the basics of the lab technician role and they asked about your work history and education. They want to see how well you are in the lab environment and how well you are able to work as a team member.
- Can you share an instance from your past experiences?
- Can you tell us about your work history and education?
- How do you feel about working in a lab?
Technician
Had a phone interview, then an in-person interview, and then a long wait for an offer. Negotiation happens at the offer stage. There's a significant pay difference that they don't reveal upfront. Try to get the best offer from the start. It's been 10 years since I went through this, so hopefully, it's improved.
- What are some common interview questions you ask?
- How do you assess potential versus actual knowledge?
